Finally!! Exam fever is over!!

WWWWooooooohhhhhooooooo!!!! Bye bye exams n hello holidays!!!! 3 months baby!!! damn the wait was long but it is finally here.

Now i can finally get back to everything that i've been putting off lately and let me tell you, it's a whole lot of things. I've been putting of exercising, reading my novels, blogging, hanging out. Basically a lot of things but because of exams i had to put my entire focus on that alone.

Anyhoos... i was at Carrefour Alamanda a few weeks back and they had a book sale. All the books were Rm5 each. How cool is that? Well for me of cause. hehe. I bought a bunch. So now i can spend my time reading.

Another things that was on my mind was songs. Nice slow songs which are soothing to the soul. Im glad to able to sit down and listen to all of it now. I finally have time. Well as i was thinking of that, i thought of this endless song, Lifehouse-Everything.

I got to know about this song through a church camp. You can click below to watch the it. The video is awesome i tell you!! The meaning is just superb and it gives you an overwhelming feeling of strength and faith. So for all you christians out there and others too who have seen or have not seen the video. Hope you'll enjoy it.

A whole new yr, A whole new start (hopefully)

Its now the year 2008., i am finally out of high school and venturing into adulthood. Bigger responsibilities are vested upon me now. I am just hoping that the saying “A whole new year a whole new start” really brings out a new start for me but ever since the middle of last year everything has been going extremely well. I’ve been through a lot for these past few years. Many challenges and obstacles had to be overcomed which really put myself to the test and thank god i got through it but i am still going through some of it though.

Life has never been easy for me. I started being very matured at such a young age. I had to grow up fast due to the obstacles that i had to go through in life. Through every experience i learned a lot about life and i grew wiser. Knowing how to protect and keep myself safe and strong. Well at least i try to do so. Through my whole journey so far i’ve discovered a lot of things and throughout my discovery i encountered with many types of people, some were nice and some weren’t.

Life isn’t as bad as it seems though but its not as good either, depending on that person’s outlook on life. I am grateful for everything i have because i know that there are many people who are less fortunate than i am. Besides everyone has problems too, its just that the level of seriousness of their problems may vary..

However, i am really looking forward to this year. After the LOVE & LIFE seminar my life has changed and improved for the better. Relationship with my dad and my family has been renewed and blossomed. My true friends are there for me no matter what happens as long as they know who am i truly. I am finally out of school doing law, its my dream job really and its so exciting. Its all good now really. I am looking forward to find out what the future is instore me though..

I'm now a soldier christ..

15th of july will be a day i will always remember for the rest of my life. For it was the day of my confirmation. I was very excited for it to come. I was excited not only because everyone was going to get all dressed up, the gals in white dresses or blouses and skirts whereas the boys were in maroon ties, white shirts and black pants but i was also excited because it was the starting of our journey towards becoming soldiers of christ..

Everyone was just so happy. All the confirmants looked stunning in their own way. As the ceremony was about to start. We all stood in lines standing beside our god parents. We have prepared for this day for so long and now we are ready to receive the sacrament of confirmation and receive the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit so we marched in and sat in our respective pews.

We all sang and prayed so loud. We meant every word we prayed and every song we sang with all our hearts and after the confirmation rites were done. We stood up and started walking in lines along with our god parents beside us as we walked up to the archbishop who was going to seal us with the Holy Spirit. I watched all my classmates and the rest of the fellow confirmants which was about 89 of us as i waited for my turn.

There were all kind of reactions from them. Some were just so happy and some just started crying. And when it was my turn i couldnt control myself. The moment i was up there near the altar and the archbishop laid his hand on my head and said be sealed with the Holy Spirit my hairs stood up. I felt a sting of fire flowing down my spine. I had a tingling feeling flowing through my body and as i walked back to my pew and continued singing, i couldnt control myself and i just burst into tears it was a new feeling. I just dont know how to explain it but it was a beautiful feeling..its just extraordinary!!

After the ceremony i was just so happy but i was sad to cause it meant that it would be the last time the whole class would be together like this. To me, my journey towards confirmation has just been beautiful. It has changed me a lot. I've gained a lot of knowledge. I've opened up with a lot of people. I've grown in my faith and i've grown closer to GOD and i wouldnt change any bit of it. Now looking back i hope we all would still remain as close as we all have become and we would meet up as often as possible. I just wanna thank your grace, our archbishop, our dear priests, our wonderful teachers, Mr.Leonard Pelly and Mr.William, Reuben and the rest who has helped us and stuck there with us and all the conformation students. My journey with you all has been great and i will miss you all. You all will always be in my hearts. I would name all of you but the list would just go on and on.

Most of all i am extremely thankful to be where i am now and i thank god for everything i have and for always being there for me. I hope i will continue to do god's work as a soldier of christ with all of you.

My Very First Post

First off, there are many things i would like to write about cause finally i am able to express it all out so today i chose to talk about something that i am experiencing at the moment.

I am a roman catholic and as a roman catholic we have many stages that we would need to undergo. Well i am currently preparing myself for my confirmation which will be about 1 month from now so in order of preparing myself for it i had to attend a preparation camp which was held 2 weeks ago. This camp was unlike any other camp i have been to, religious ones i mean. Anyways the experience that i've gained in that camp is extraordinary.

To be a honest, i wasn't really into my faith. I mean i believed in it, i trusted it but i never really knew my faith deeply. I only knew the outline of it. I wasn't living the life of a catholic, i don't pray except for sundays when i am at mass. I wasn't being a practising catholic you could say. I would go to church only because i had to and not because i want to.

That has changed now. When i started my cathecism class for confirmation this year my views on life, my faith, people and so on has changed. I've become a better person. I've strong moral values now. I pray cause i want to and after attending that camp it changed me even more. It changed me completely. It wasn't what i heard the camp that changed my views. It was what i felt, it was god. It was that deep connection that i felt, it was that special relationship with god that was once lost is now renewed.

I hope to experience this great feeling even more. I cant wait for my confirmation ceremony. To those who are catholics who have lost ur path, trust and have faith in god. Keep doing so and u will be rewarded, trust me!
